The Charlotte Panthers Track Club was started in January 2000 by founders Larry and Wanda Brown. Our athletes range in age from as young as 5 years old to 18 years old. The Charlotte Panthers Track & Field Club is a non-profit, 501c3 youth organization comprised of F.amilies/Athlete’s from all areas of the Piedmont Triad, we welcome all athlete’s regardless of skill level or experience. If you or your child likes to run fast, jump high, throw far, and work hard then the Charlotte Panthers track club may be for you. Our organization is designed to enhance the lives of our student athletes thru reinforced self-confidence, development of people skills and exposure to some of the nations top student athletes thru friendly competition. We pride ourselves on focused instruction, and guidance to all of our athletes giving them the best possible chance for success both on and off the field. Our coaches practice the Positive Coaching Alliance doctrine, in teaching our athletes good sportsmanship.
Our mission is to provide a positive environment for personal growth, leadership, team building, sportsmanship, and athletic Success. We require academic status reports for both mid school year and for the EOC. By providing a positive environment, our athletes have a safe and positive atmosphere to develop their Athletic skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Our coaches have years of experience and help each athlete develop by teaching the basics of stretching, conditioning and strength training, stability drills, and fundamentals of relevant track and field events.,
Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) Athletics
AAU Encompasses competitions in Track & Field, Cross Country, and Multi-Event. The AAU Athletics Program is comprised of eight age divisions (male and female combined). The athlete’s year of birth shall determine the age division that he/she will compete in.
